TFPC
Introduction
TFPC is a public speaking competition organized by Sekolah Tun Fatimah with a mission of encouraging participants to challenge themselves against other speakers in Malaysia, while giving them an opportunity to meet and engage with other young people from different backgrounds and schools.
- Encourage the development of oral communication skills among secondary school pupils
- Enhance the participants’ public speaking and critical thinking skills in crafting their speeches and managing impromptu settings
- Showcase and celebrate participants' talents in a competitive and challenging environment to shine and grow confidently.
Processess
Webinar
Participants attend a webinar on public speaking skills by a prominent speaker. The Webinar is geared towards preparation for the competition as it provides guidance in expression, delivery skills, as well as critical thinking skills designed to improve the participants’ delivery of their prepared and impromptu speeches.
Accommodation
The participant registration fee covers bed and breakfast hostel accommodation in Sekolah Tun Fatimah for one night (Friday 20th September inclusive, with check out on the morning of Saturday 21st September 2023).
Funding
Registration fee covers the costs of the webinar, food and accommodation associated with the TFPC programme. The registration fee does not cover the cost of the participants’ travel to and from Sekolah Tun Fatimah or the cost of the participants’ personal accommodation.
